Chapter 1 General Rules
Article 1 (Purpose)
The purpose of these Terms and Conditions is to prescribe basic matters related to the rights, obligations and responsibilities, terms of use, and procedures between the website (hereinafter referred to as the “Site”) operated by LG Magna e-Powertrain Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) and users of the Internet-related services (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”) provided by the Site.
Article 2 (Effect and Change of Terms and Conditions)
- The contents of these Terms and Conditions are disclosed to users by posting them on the service screen.
- The Company posts the contents of these Terms and Conditions, the Company’s name, the location of the office, the name of the representative, the taxpayer identification number, etc. on the home service screen of the Site in such a way that users can readily see them.
- These Terms and Conditions may be amended if deemed necessary by the Company, and any changes in the Terms and Conditions will be disclosed in the same manner as in Paragraph 1 without delay. However, changes to important provisions regarding the rights or obligations of users shall be disclosed at least 30 days in advance.
- The Company is not responsible for any damages sustained by users due to failure to check the amended Terms and Conditions.
Article 3 (Other Matters)
Matters other than those stated in these Terms and Conditions are subject to the relevant laws, such as the Framework Act on Telecommunications, the Personal Information Protection Act, the Act on the Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc., and the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions or commercial practices.
Article 4 (Definition of Terms)
The definitions of terms used in these Terms and Conditions are as follows.
- Site: The Site refers to a virtual business site or a website operated by the Company to provide goods and services to users by allowing the trading of goods and services using information and communications equipment such as computers, including the website below through which users can receive the Service. It is also used to refer to the operator of the Site.

- User: The user is a person who accesses the Site and receives the Service provided by the Site in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.
Chapter 2 Provision and Use of Service
Article 5 (Rights and Responsibilities for Posts)
The copyright to the work created by the Company and posted on the Site or Service belongs to the Company.
Article 6 (Service Hours)
The Service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year unless the Company has any operational or technical issue or other special reason. If there is a problem with service use due to system inspection, maintenance, replacement, malfunction, communication failure, etc., however, all or part of the service use may be restricted or suspended.
Chapter 3 Obligations of the Contracting Parties
Article 7 (Company’s Obligations)
- The Company has an obligation to provide the Service continuously and reliably under these Terms and Conditions.
- The Company may not disclose or distribute the personal information of users as acquired in relation to the provision of the Service to others without the prior consent of the person concerned. However, this shall not apply in the case of due process according to legal provisions, such as when a request is made by a related agency for investigation purposes according to the applicable laws, or when a request is made by the Korea Communications Standards Commission.
- Within the scope of Paragraph 1, the Company may create and use statistical data on all or part of the user’s personal information without the prior consent of the user for business purposes and transmit the user’s computer cookies through the Service. In this case, the user may change the settings of the computer’s browser to refuse to accept cookies or to warn against the acceptance of cookies and shall assume responsibility for changes in the use of the Service as a result of changing the cookie settings.
- The Company complies with laws and regulations related to the operation and maintenance of the Service, including the Act on the Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, the Protection of Communications Secrets Act, the Telecommunications Business Act, etc.
Article 8 (User’s Obligations)
- Users may not engage in any of the following acts when using the Service:
- Act of copying or distributing the Company’s service information without prior approval from the Company or using it for commercial purposes
- Act of infringing on the Company’s copyright, a party’s copyright, and other rights
- Act of injecting or distributing a computer virus that causes malfunction of service-related equipment, destruction of data, disruption, etc.
- Users must comply with the relevant laws and regulations, matters stipulated in these Terms and Conditions, service use guides, and precautions.
- Users must comply with the restrictions on use posted by the Company in a service announcement or separately announced on a case to case basis.
- Users cannot conduct any commercial activities using the Service without prior approval from the Company.
Article 9 (Notice to Users)
In the case of notice to a large number of unspecified users, the Company may post a notice on the service bulletin board, etc. in lieu of individual notifications.
Article 10 (Protection of Personal Information)
The Company strives to protect users’ personal information in compliance with the relevant laws and regulations. The relevant laws and regulations and the Company’s privacy policy apply to the protection of users’ personal information. However, the Company’s privacy policy does not apply to sites linked from the web other than the Company’s official website. In addition, the Company is not responsible for any information exposed due to reasons attributable to the user.
